The objective of the case study was to look at a business that failed, evaluate why it might have failed, and create a new business model and transition plan. My team chose to work on a consignment store called Second Time Around.
All members of the team contributed to each part of this project.
To revamp the business model we created a new design tool.
After starting with the initial business model we chose to evaluate two competitors and one source of inspiration.
From there we chose key characteristics of those models we could apply to Second Time Around’s new business model.
